Editorial independence
How this site earns
Two products, both sold directly to readers: a $4 USD corridor guide and a $19 USD automated route plan. Neither is on sale yet. That is the entire intended revenue model at launch.
What is not accepted
- No paid placement. No company can pay to appear in a requirement, a route recommendation or a comparison.
- No advertising on any page.
- No sponsored content, and no content written or reviewed by a commercial party.
- No selling or sharing of reader data. There is nothing to sell: the finder runs in your browser and no account exists.
Referrals and affiliates
Referring readers to pet shippers, and affiliate links for required equipment, are recognised as possible future revenue routes. Neither is active, and no such relationship exists today.
If either is ever activated, these rules apply and are non-negotiable:
- Disclosure at the point of the link, not only on this page.
- No influence on requirements. A commercial relationship can never change what a rule says, what order steps appear in, or whether a warning is shown.
- The honest recommendation stands. The pricing page tells readers when a full-service shipper is the better purchase, and it will keep saying so whether or not a referral pays.
- Removal on conflict. If a partner’s commercial interest starts shaping editorial decisions, the partnership ends rather than the policy bending.
Comparisons and competitors
Comparison pages exist to help a reader choose an option, including options that earn this site nothing — a government process done unaided, or a professional shipper. Competitors’ public claims may be described accurately; their content is never used as evidence for a requirement.
