Updates
If you acted on something here, this is where you check whether it has since changed. The log records source changes, claim changes, page publications, corrections and changes of scope — anything a reader could reasonably have relied on.
It is generated from the site’s own append-only log, so it cannot quietly disagree with what the registers actually did. Entries are never edited away; a mistake in an entry is corrected by a later entry.

2026-08-26 — Prices removed from page names.
Editorial UPD-2026-08-26-05
Page titles and inventory topics no longer carry a price, so a link reads 'Guide: bringing a dog from the United States to Australia' rather than repeating the amount. Prices continue to come from configuration and appear on the pages themselves.
Affected pages: Shop and compare the six corridor guides, What the personalised automated route plan includes, Free finder vs guide vs plan vs full-service shipper, Guide: bringing a dog from the United States to Australia, Guide: bringing a cat from the United States to Australia, Guide: bringing a dog from Great Britain to Australia, Guide: bringing a cat from Great Britain to Australia, Guide: bringing a dog from Canada to Australia, Guide: bringing a cat from Canada to Australia, Free finder, guide, plan or full-service shipper

2026-08-26 — The full 76-page inventory is now published.
Page published UPD-2026-08-26-04
The carrier layer was opened with IATA's own product page and one airline's published policy, and the department's transit and transhipment rules were encoded. All ten air-travel pages, the routing comparison, the scope page on pets moving with their household, and the contact page now publish. Carrier policy is recorded as its own layer and is authoritative only for the carrier that published it.
Affected pages: Why government eligibility does not guarantee airline acceptance, Why the operating carrier and codeshare matter, How transit countries and transfers can change the plan, Snub-nosed/brachycephalic transport restrictions and welfare limits, How carrier breed/type restrictions differ from import bans, How to measure a dog or cat for a travel container, What container criteria must be confirmed for the itinerary?, How weather and seasonal embargoes affect pet flights, When to contact the airline and exactly what to ask, Fitness and welfare questions for long-haul pet transport, Direct route versus transit route for an Australia pet move, Does my move count as non-commercial pet movement?, Contact and bounded support routes

2026-08-26 — Guide product pages, arrival and quarantine release published.
Page published UPD-2026-08-26-03
The six corridor guide pages describe what each guide contains and remain unbuyable. Two requirement pages cover arrival at Melbourne and release from Mickleham, including the wet-ink stamp rule, the crate contents that are destroyed on arrival, and the fact that local registration after release is the owner's responsibility.
Affected pages: Guide: bringing a dog from the United States to Australia, Guide: bringing a cat from the United States to Australia, Guide: bringing a dog from Great Britain to Australia, Guide: bringing a cat from Great Britain to Australia, Guide: bringing a dog from Canada to Australia, Guide: bringing a cat from Canada to Australia, What happens at arrival and biosecurity inspection?, What happens at quarantine release and immediately after?

2026-08-26 — Correction: external parasite treatment starts 30 days before export for dogs, not 21.
Correction UPD-2026-08-26-02
Eight pages stated a 21-day window for dogs. That figure is the cat rule; the department's dog guide states at least 30 days, with its own worked example. Corrected on the external parasite page, the three dog corridor pages, the United States corridor hub, the timing comparison and the pre-export examination page. The error came from writing the shared parasite page from the cat guide alone and generalising it.
Affected pages: Which external parasite treatments and windows apply?, What must happen at the pre-export veterinary examination?, Moving a pet from the United States to Australia, Moving a dog from the United States to Australia, Moving a dog from Great Britain to Australia, Moving a dog from Canada to Australia, What changes if preparation begins 6, 9 or 12 months before travel?
Affected claims: CLM-AU-PAR-08

2026-08-26 — Publisher identification removed at the owner's request.
Editorial UPD-2026-08-26-01
The site no longer names a publisher, a controller or a contact route. The privacy notice now states that the site is purely informational and that the operating company is in its startup phase. The contact page returns to draft, because removing the profile removed the only route it had. All of this must be restored before the site is indexed or anything is sold — GDPR requires an identified controller and EU consumer law an identifiable trader.
Affected pages: Publisher mission, ownership and accountability, Contact and bounded support routes, Site, guide and automated-plan terms, Privacy, local processing, analytics and retention

2026-08-25 — Five comparison pages published; payment approach recorded.
Page published UPD-2026-08-25-12
Dog versus cat, the three origin corridors compared, 10 versus 30 days of quarantine, starting six/nine/twelve months out, and the free-guide-plan-shipper comparison. Also recorded the owner's working assumption that guides will be sold through a payment processor rather than a merchant of record.
Affected pages: Dog versus cat import requirements for Australia, US vs Great Britain vs Canada origin-pathway differences, 10-day versus 30-day quarantine: timing, conditions and official costs, Free finder, guide, plan or full-service shipper, What changes if preparation begins 6, 9 or 12 months before travel?

Page published UPD-2026-08-25-11
Five requirement pages assembled from evidence already in the registers, covering the non-rabies blood tests and the restricted Brucella test types, the pre-export examination, which health certificate each origin uses, what government endorsement means and who may give it, and the exact order the paperwork must follow.
Affected pages: Which non-rabies pre-export tests may be required?, What must happen at the pre-export veterinary examination?, What is the official health certificate and when is it completed?, Which paperwork needs government endorsement or submission?, What is the exact ordering of pet-import paperwork?

2026-08-25 — Australian destination-import evidence opened.
Editorial UPD-2026-08-25-03
The department's Group 3 step-by-step guide for dogs was read and recorded as nine verified claims, covering country-group classification, the 180-day approved-country residency, export-eligibility exclusions, prohibited breeds and hybrids, and the stated six-month preparation time. The department's site is unreachable from the build network, so its pages are captured in a browser and read from those captures rather than from any third-party summary.

Editorial UPD-2026-08-25-01
Eighteen authority sources covering Australian import rules and United States, British and Canadian export rules were registered with their canonical locators, monitoring method and review trigger. Registering a source is not the same as verifying it — the register shows which is which.
Affected pages: Public source register and evidence hierarchy
